Reflections in the Water

This is a much larger reflection piece than I had done in the past. If I've learned anything it's that when you enlarge things its easy to forget to exaggerate detail. Otherwise the image looks lifeless and flat.

I started this morning with yesterdays' image and coloured in the trees. Now it looks closer to what I'm trying to achieve. This helped me clarify colour as well for the foreground and background as well as the trees' reflections.

After cutting out the pieces to fuse and trying them in place......

I started snipping them to break the line and create ripples, as would happen in a reflection.

This is slow work.
Tomorrow.
